4-Part Success System for Ambit Energy Consultants

The thing about a success system is that you need to plug into it to actually have success. And Ambit Energy certainly has a successful four-part system for consultants to plug into that created a $1.4 billion company in record time. A proven system is what makes McDonald's and every other national fast-food chain successful. It's certainly not the terrific burgers. It's the reason why, no matter what McDonald's you want into, the fries are in the same place, the drink machine is in the same place, and pretty much the entire place is run the exact same way. Because it works. Want to know the exact system that built Ambit Energy to one of the most successful companies in American history without traditional advertising models? Want to learn exactly how to do it? Then just keep reading. Part 1: Invitation To put it as simple as possible, Ambit Energy Consultants are professional inviters. Consultants invite people to simple take a look at the business opportunity. This is … [Read more...]

Ambit Energy Announces Biggest Bonus of the Year

Ambit Energy just announced a hot promotion to kick off the summer, and it’s one of the most lucrative bonuses the company will run all year. From May 28 through July 1, any new Consultant who registers for Ambition (Ambit’s annual conference), is eligible for a Triple Bonus when gathering Texas customers, or a Double Bonus when gathering customers in other markets. The Triple/Double Bonus also applies to sponsor and upline coded bonuses. As an example, a new consultant who gathers six Texas customer points (two of those points count as the consultant’s marketing websites) within their first 28 days in the business, and registers for Ambition, can earn $300. So, that’s four Texas households, apartments or commercial customers. For non-Texas customers, the requirement is seven customer points (two points from the website), plus registering for Ambition, can earn $200. The best part about this promotion is that it earns the new Ambit Energy consultant enough bonus money to … [Read more...]

Why You Should Show Your Business to Everyone

One of the few critical parts of building an Ambit Energy business or any network marketing business is to invite, invite, invite. You have to expose people to the business opportunity. At Ambit, we call it STP (Show the Plan). And we never stop doing that. We don't have any products for people to touch, taste, wear or smell. We work on developing relationships, figure out ways to bring value to people and STP, STP, STP, STP to everyone we know. We're NOT asking them to join. We are just asking them to take a look. Why Should You Show Your Business to Everyone? I don't mean just the people in your comfort zone. I don't mean just the people you think might be interested in your business. And I don't mean just the people you think would be fantastic at your business. I mean everyone you know and everyone you develop relationships with in the future. Everyone. Got it? Good. Sort Through People to Gauge Their Interest In any type of business, you have to expect the vast … [Read more...]

29 Inspirational Quotes I Always Keep With Me

To have success in any business, you have to learn from those who came before you. This has certainly been my experience as an Ambit Energy Consultant. So, I wanted to share several of my favorite quotes that have driven me and inspired me along the way. These aren't just things I have applied to my business. They have also helped me in so many other areas of my life. Hopefully they do the same for you. I keep these quotes with me at all times on my phone. I refer to them often, and each time I do, different ones stand out to me depending on what's going on in my life at that time. Feel free to share this list using the share buttons to the left. "Men are anxious to improve their circumstances, but are unwilling to improve themselves; they therefore remain bound." -James Allen "We all come into this world the same: naked, scared, and ignorant. After that grand entrance, the life we end up with is simply an accumulation of the choices we make." -Darren Hardy "Let others … [Read more...]

Overcoming Objections to Building an Ambit Energy Business: ‘I Need to Do Research’

If you've been involved in network marketing or direct sales for any length of time, you know that people give all kinds of objections and excuses as to why they can't build a business. Our second post on overcoming common objections people give to building an Ambit Energy business (or any network marketing business, really) looks at the objection: "I need to do some research." Be sure to read my first post in my series covering objections on "I don't have enough time" here. So, how do you respond when you show someone the business opportunity and they tell you they need to do some research? Don't Push Back Like with any objection or excuse you receive, never immediately push back or belittle someone's excuse or objection. Always be respectful. Even if they might have misconceptions about the business and opportunity, everyone has a different perspective, different experiences and different mindsets. Instead of pushing back and objecting to their objection, say that you … [Read more...]

VIDEO: Crazy Reliant Fee – $5.95 to Call Customer Support!?

A new Ambit Energy consultant on my team sent an image of his bill for us to look at it. We noticed an inconspicuous line that noted customers would be charged a fee of $5.95 PER CALL to call customer care. That's insane! How is that caring for your customers? No, this probably applied to the specific plan this customer was on, but charging your customers $5.95 just to call customer support is just crazy. Always be aware of hidden fees like this. I always make sure my Ambit Energy customers have my cell phone number so they can call or text me any time they have questions. If we need to pull in Ambit customer service, we will. Ambit does not charge an extra fee just to call customer support. See the video below to see the fee and for a couple more tips on things to spot on a bill so that you know what you're really paying. Also read this post on how to find your true average rate on a Texas electricity bill. … [Read more...]

Overcoming Objections to Building an Ambit Energy Business: ‘Not Enough Time’

This is the first in a series of posts about overcoming the most common objections people give to building an Ambit Energy business. In this one, we look at the most common one: “I don’t have enough time.” I’ve heard this objection more times than I could ever remember. Here's the thing: everyone is busy. I work my Ambit business part time. I have a full-time job and do some freelance work that I really enjoy doing, all in addition to Ambit. Plus, I have an awesome wife and four young kids (that's them below!). I, as much as anyone, understand what it means to be busy. When you get this response, don’t immediately push back. Say that you understand, and maybe even relate to them. For example, I sometimes will say, “I certainly understand how time can be an issue. I have a full-time job plus a family of five I have to take care of.” Then respond with a question (responding with questions is always great!). One option is to ask them how much time they think they would need to … [Read more...]

Ambit Energy Offers Open Enrollment Zero Down 2.0 Promotion

Ambit Energy is bringing back its most successful promotion, but this time has added a twist that will make it even easier for consultants to grow their business and promote through the company's compensation plan. The Zero Down 2.0 promotion waves the standard startup fee to get a consultant's business up and running. That's right. Normally $429, this promotion is an open enrollment. The only overhead cost is $24.95 a month for your suit of marketing websites that allows consultants to enroll customers and other consultants. To add to the Zero Down 2.0 promotion, Ambit Energy is also offering a Double-50 Bonus. Here's how it works: Any new consultant who enrolls four Texas customers in their first 28 days from starting their business can earn $200 ($100 is paid on the first two Texas customers and then another $100 on the other two customers). New consultants who enroll five non-Texas customers can earn $150 ($100 is paid on the first three non-Texas customers and then another … [Read more...]
